Advance Doc Optimizer

Advance Doc Optimizer is a suspicious system optimizer that is introduced to Windows users by a questionable company named “Saffire Software.” This suspicious company has set up one website, saffiresoftwares.com/products.html, to showcase all of its products, which include Doc Backup, Reg Doc Pro, Doc Driver Updater, Malware Doc Pro, Saffire Disk Powerup, and, of course, the potentially unwanted program (PUP) that we are discussing in this report. These products are not represented in a clear manner, and that is a signal that you are not meant to understand them completely. The home page of the download source informs that the PUP can provide you with an “All In One PC Optimization Suite,” but no real features are listed or discussed. In fact, just by looking at the website, you would think that it is not fully completed yet. Well, it was most recently updated in 2016, and so that is not the case. It is more likely that this website was set up to make Saffire Software look more authentic and trustworthy, when, in reality, it is not all that, and users should consider deleting it. Continue reading, and you will understand why you must delete Advance Doc Optimizer.

Although the official download site does not offer a working installer – which is meant to be free – it is likely that this potentially unwanted program is spread via third-party sources. You could find it bundled with more attractive programs promoted on file-sharing websites, or you could be introduced to it using unreliable pop-ups and advertisements. Whatever the case might be, if Advance Doc Optimizer is active on your operating system, you MUST scan your operating system immediately because the chances are that you will need to delete other infections; along with the PUP, of course. So, why exactly is this program considered to be unreliable? That is because it does not work that great. It might detect temp files, empty registry entries, recycle bin items, and other elements that do not really affect the performance of the operating system. While it certainly does not hurt to remove these components, you do not want to pay money for this service because you actually can easily clean your operating system in this manner yourself. It is much more important for you to invest in software that can guard your operating system against malware or help you remove actual infections.

The company that has created Advance Doc Optimizer does not have a signature, and that is a bad sign. The Privacy Policy representing this PUP informs that the company uses tracking cookies to record information about you. Most of this data is likely to be non-personally identifiable, but even if data does not reveal sensitive information, you still do not want it being recorded by an unreliable company. If you decide to pay for the services of Advance Doc Optimizer, the personal information you enter could be recorded. This information includes email address, full name, country, and credit card information, which includes number, expiration date, and the security code. Do you really want to disclose this data? More importantly, do you really want to invest in a tool that does not really work all that great? At the time of research, the PUP was offered for 66,48 USD, and that is a lot of money for something that deletes cookies, temp files, and items placed in the recycle bin.

When the mysterious Advance Doc Optimizer is installed onto your PC, it creates a file named “Apps” in the %LocalAppData% directory. Although it should be enough to uninstall the PUP via the Control Panel, we recommend checking the directory to see if all components were successfully removed. Another thing you can do is run a full system scan because you want to know if you have deleted Advance Doc Optimizer or other threats you were after successfully. Another option would be to install anti-malware software. It can delete PUPs, Trojans, rogues, ransomware, adware, hijackers, malicious cookies, and other kinds of threats that might be targeting your operating system. Most important, it can ensure that your operating system is no target at all by enabling full-time protection. Do you know what to do? Hopefully, you do, but if you still have questions, do not hesitate to leave a comment below.
