EnjoyWiFi

EnjoyWiFi is a highly secretive and clandestine program that is not promoted by its creator in a clear and transparent manner. In fact, the creator is unknown, primarily because there is no official information representing this potentially unwanted program (PUP). According to our research team, what we could call an official installer is available at yeawindows.com/enjoyWiFi/enjoyWIFI.exe. However, a website or a download page with more information does exist. Furthermore, some browsers – for example, Google Chrome – identify this installer as a threat, and it is automatically blocked. Without a doubt, that is a great indicator that the installer cannot be trusted. Unfortunately, the PUP is likely to be spread via third-party installers, and users could let it in without even knowing it. If the program was installed without your permission, you need to examine your operating system to check if you need to delete other programs that might have slithered in without your notice too. Needless to say, our main focus is on the removal of EnjoyWiFi, and if you want to get rid of this strange PUP, you should keep reading.

Similarly to Free Wifi Hotspot – which is also a potentially unwanted program – EnjoyWiFi offers real services. It actually allows you to create a WiFi hotspot, and that is the main reason users are likely to let this potentially unwanted program in. Once installed, this program also opens a window that displays the temperature of your computer’s CPU, Graphics card, and the Hard disk drive. According to our research team, this information is accurate. Needless to say, that means that the suspicious EnjoyWiFi is not entirely useless. That being said, you should not install and trust the first program that offers you seemingly beneficial services. You also have to look at the bigger picture, and, unfortunately, it is not that pretty. As we have discussed already, the PUP’s installer is identified as a potential threat, and it is not introduced to users in a transparent manner. That means that the program is highly unpredictable, and that, of course, is not a good thing. Our research team has found that the PUP has EULA and Privacy Policy statements that can be found at yeawindows.com/enjoyWiFi/EULA.htm and yeawindows.com/enjoyWiFi/Privacy.htm respectfully. It is unlikely that users would find this information on their own.

According to the legal information, EnjoyWiFi could showcase advertisements, as well as record private information. Does that have anything to do with the services that this potentially unwanted program offers? It is unlikely that it does, which means that the creator of the program is, potentially, using the PUP to do other things. Have you already encountered suspicious advertisements? Clicking on them is risky because we know nothing about the parties who might be involved. As you might or might not know, advertisements are often used by schemers and malware distributors, and so you have to be cautious. When it comes to the collection of data, it is most likely that the PUP records only that data that you choose to share. So, if you do not want personally identifiable information recorded, do not share it. If you decide that the services offered are not worth having personal data recorded or getting exposed to suspicious advertisements, we suggest removing the potentially unwanted program without further delay.

You can uninstall EnjoyWiFi, and that, hopefully, is the quickest way in which you can eliminate this PUP. If, for whatever reason, the program is not gone after uninstalling it, you can follow the instructions below. They might seem lengthy and intimidating, but we are sure you can handle them. The third option is to use anti-malware software, and we strongly recommend that if you have downloaded the potentially unwanted program along with other suspicious or malicious pieces of software. If any threats are active, a legitimate anti-malware tool will delete EnjoyWiFi and the rest of them automatically. If you have no clue what you should do or which removal methods you should rely on, maybe you should start a conversation in the comments section below. Our research team will try to answer all questions you might have, just make sure that they are clear and concise so that we could help you straight away.
