It is true that this program comes along to encrypt your files, but it does not look like it wants to steal your money because it does not have any ransom note. What’s more, it is very easy to decrypt your files and remove Fucked Ransomware from your computer. Simply check out the removal instructions below this description.

Since there is not that much to tell about this infection in particular, we believe that we have to inform users how to avoid ransomware programs in general. To make sure that your computer remains protected from such infections, you need to know more about how ransomware applications spread across the web. Normally, the main distribution method involves spam email messages and corrupt file attachments. Spam emails with attachments that carry the infection are sent out to the mined email addresses. It means that a lot of users receive the same false message at the same time.

Some email service providers might filter those spam messages into the Junk folder, and you would never see them at all. However, there are a lot of providers that cannot provide such a service. As a result, the messages that carry file attachments with ransomware land in the main inbox. Why would users open those spam emails? That is because these days the spam that distributes ransomware is very sophisticated. The message you have received may look like a report from a bank or an invoice from an online store. Also, opening an email message might be a reflex action, so it is no surprise that users often get fooled into installing ransomware.

Of course, there are other ways for Fucked Ransomware and similar infections to enter your computer, but the bottom line is that you have to remain attentive when you browse the web, and you should be able to avoid them. Needless to say, staying away from unfamiliar websites might also help the cause. As mentioned, this program, in particular, may not your worst nightmare, but it can still give you a decent scare, so there is no need to experience something like that again.

Upon the infection, Fucked Ransomware will encrypt a number of your files. The file types that get affected by the program are as follows:

".exe", ".doc", ".docx", ".xls", ".xlsx", ".ppt", ".pptx", ".jpg", ".jpeg", ".png", ".psd", ".txt", ".zip", ".rar", ".html", ".php", ".asp", ".aspx", ".mp4", ".avi", ".3gp", ".wmv", ".MOV", ".mp3", ".wav", ".flac", ".wma", ".mov", ".raw", ".bmp", ".gif", ".NLS", ".ink", ".pdf",

Some ransomware infections may lock user’s screen upon the installation, but Fucked Ransomware does not do that. As our research specialists say, this ransomware is probably used for testing purposes, and so it does not even display a ransom note. You will only see that this program performs specific changes on your system.

For example, once the encryption is complete, Fucked Ransomware enumerates all files in your drives using the Roman alphabet letters. Also, the program does not affect files in a number of directories, including Bin, Windows, System Volume Information, Cache, Program Files (x86), boot, and so on.

That is not surprising because normally ransomware programs need your system be remain functional. If you cannot run your computer or you cannot access the Internet, the people behind this or any other infection would not be able to receive the ransom fee. Thus, we can assume that Fucked Ransomware is a test run before the actual infection comes forth.
