MicrosoftSecurityAdviser (Microsoft Security Adviser, Microsoft SecurityAdviser, MicrosoftSecurity Adviser) is the latest and dangerous rogue antispyware software. MicrosoftSecurityAdviser enters the computer system with the assistance of Trojans that display fake security alerts about threats and then installs MicrosoftSecurityAdviser without the user’s permission. Once installed, MicrosoftSecurityAdviser will scan the computer and display a variety of infections that cannot be removed until the user purchases MicrosoftSecurityAdviser’s full version. These infections, though, do not really exist. MicrosoftSecurityAdviser will continuously bombard the user with pop-up displays, fake security warnings about problems on the computer and will also display a window labelled MicrosoftSecurityAdviser, which impersonates the legitimate Windows Security Center. This protection center states that the computer has no protection and recommends that you purchase MicrosoftSecurityAdviser. All these fake security alerts and warnings are an attempt to scare the user into purchasing the full version of MicrosoftSecurityAdviser. MicrosoftSecurityAdviser can also terminate legitimate anti-spyware applications including popular MalwareBytes Anti-malware. Also, MicrosoftSecurityAdviser can easily hijack your Internet Explorer browser so that you cannot visit trusted anti-malware websites. MicrosoftSecurityAdviser should be deleted immediately from your computer system before any more harm is done.
