AdWarePro, also known as AdWare Pro, is a Rogue Anti-spyware Application which is made to frighten the computer user‘s into purchasing their product. An interesting thing happens when the computer user opens a video link and all of a sudden pop-up messages appear stating that the user will need to install Video ActiveX Codec. A trojan hides behind this codec name. After installation the user‘s computer will be infected with a Zlob trojan, which displays various bogus security messages. This will then offer to do a system scan with AdWarePro software. As mentioned before, this is just to frighten the user into purchasing AdWarePro. Do not waste your time and money purchasing AdWarePro. Remove AdWarePro immediately from your computer system.
