Isearch.tinyresults.com

Isearch.tinyresults.com is a rather troublesome browser hijacker that users might find hard to eliminate. It does not surprise us because the application can create quite a few modifications in the Windows Registry editor. Thus, if it hijacked your Internet Explorer, you might have a difficult time deleting it. Luckily, we have tested the application and learned how to erase it. If you wish to know how to get rid of it too, you should scroll below the article and follow our removal guide. Also, it might be a good idea to check your system for other suspicious programs because the application might be spread with malicious installers. If you already noticed that there are more threats on your system, it is better to scan your system with a trustworthy antimalware tool. It will help users erase not only the browser hijacker but also other possible threats as well.

Our researchers confirmed that Isearch.tinyresults.com should be spread with bundled installers. Because of it, users might install the browser hijacker without realizing it. As you download an installer, it is impossible to say if it is bundled with other software. The additional programs can be seen only in the setup wizard and with a condition that users choose advanced installation settings if it is possible. Otherwise, these offers may be installed automatically on your computer. As you realize, you have to be extremely careful if you do not want to install any unwanted software. Especially, if the installer you downloaded came from an unreliable source, e.g. torrent or another file-sharing web page.

Isearch.tinyresults.com might be set as your default homepage and search engine. If you wonder which browsers may be affected by the browser hijacker, we can tell you that it works on Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome. For example, if you use Microsoft Edge as well or other browsers, they should not be affected. Probably, you already noticed that Isearch.tinyresults.com is a search engine. If you do not pay much attention to the suspicious ads in the search results, you might think that it is no different from other search engines. Actually, the displayed ads in the results might come from third-party web pages that could distribute adware, browser hijackers, potentially unwanted programs, or even malware. Clearly, if the site is malicious, visiting it or downloading any content from it would be harmful to the user’s computer.

Furthermore, entering unreliable websites might be even more dangerous than you think. Some sites are full of various freebie offers that are promised to users for their personal information, e.g. email address, telephone number, and so on. If you give such information without even knowing how it may be used, do not be surprised to receive more spam emails with commercial ads and other offers. In such cases, it is crucial to check the website’s Privacy Policy statements because it might say that all submitted user data could be shared or sold to other interested parties. This is only one of the examples, but hopefully, it is enough for users to understand how dangerous third-party ads can be if they come from unknown sources. If you take a look at the search engine’s Privacy Policy statements, you will see that its creators warn users about third-party content too.

Given that the application is a browser hijacker, and you may not wanted it on your browsers in the first place, it might be best to delete it. That way users can switch back to their previous homepage and search engine. Also, you would avoid the suspicious third-party ads and keep your computer safe from malicious content. Removing Isearch.tinyresults.com manually is definitely not an easy task, but you can check our removal guide below that should make it easier for you. However, do not worry if it is too complicated with the deletion instructions too. In that case, download a trustworthy antimalware tool and install it on your computer. Then do a system scan and wait for the results. Once, the process is over; users can erase the browser hijacker and other threats that could be hidden in the system.
