AntiSpy Deluxe (AntiSpyDeluxe) is a classic example of a renegade security program. AntiSpy Deluxe makes use of deceiving advertising techniques in order to gain the user’s trust and accordingly force the user into buying a license of this application. AntiSpy Deluxe is designed to appeal to the computer user that cares about the security of their system. AntiSpy Deluxe displays numerous pop-ups and reports plenty of infections, which are supposedly detected on the compromised machine. All these security related pop-ups are fake and are there solely to make an impression on the user that the computer has been gravely infected. The warnings displayed by AntiSpy Deluxe can be pretty convincing, as it displays scan results, imitates computer scans and loads system tray alerts, all of which are highly similar to legitimate notifications. AntiSpy Deluxe offers the user the option of removing the supposedly found threats, but only once the user has paid for a license of the malware application. Important to bear in mind, above all else: AntiSpy Deluxe is a scam.
