Survey Dash

The majority of users who willingly install Survey Dash on their computers expect to earn some money. We cannot blame those users for doing that because users are encouraged to download the software – “Download to Start Earning Cash Today!”. Unfortunately, users who download and install this application on their systems feel disappointed because the application does not do anything what it promises to do. Is it worth keeping such a useless program? We believe not, so we suggest erasing it from the system. No, it does not matter at all whether you downloaded it willingly or it sneaked onto your computer without permission.

Survey Dash should enable users to earn some cash by providing all kinds of paid surveys; however, it seems that it is only going to cause redirections to different web pages. For example, it has been observed that it might open premiumpromorewards.com/go/to/2c963f/key/04385ab6547be8308fc9a3e1066fcd2f/aid/13117 and other similar websites from time to time. In addition, it redirects users to paidsurveyupdate.com/subscribe?utm_source=Rextopia&utm_medium=Banner&utm_campaign=CPA&s1=16618&s2=59539392&utm_campaign=16618 immediately after it is installed on the system. Last but not least, users of Internet Explorer might also see pop-ups with the URL paidsurveyupdate.com/subscribe?utm_source=Rextopia&utm_medium=Banner&utm_campaign=CPA&s1=16618&s2=59539392&utm_campaign=16618 on them.

All these pop-ups and advertisements that you will see might be quite dangerous. Yes, they might contain third-party links that belong to questionable websites, and you might be taken to them. Unfortunately, these web pages might contain malicious software. Yes, this means that you might cause harm to your PC if you keep this adware program installed on the system. You should never download and keep any adware program installed on your system for the same reason.

Researchers working at pcthreat.com have also managed to find out that Survey Dash will gather information about you and your activities on the web. They have checked the Privacy Policy available on the official website of this software and found that it is going to record two types of information: a) information you actively choose to provide, and b) passive information collected automatically. In case of personal information, your email, address, name, phone number, and birth date will be recorded, whereas automatically collected information consists of IP address, date and time of visits to different web pages, and the list of websites visited. Unfortunately, it is also going to share the gathered data with third parties: “We may also share your data with interested third parties.” There is only one way to stop that – you have to delete Survey Dash from your system completely. Continue reading to find out how you can do that.

Even though Survey Dash is available for download on its official website, it does not mean that it cannot find other ways to sneak onto computers. According to specialists, this adware might also travel in software bundles together with other applications, usually adware, potentially unwanted programs, and browser hijackers: MyPCBackup, Yoursearching.com, Search Know, and System Healer. These undesirable applications might also cause harm to the system, so do not forget that you must take care of them too if you detect them installed on the system. You can use the diagnostic scanner SpyHunter to check the condition of your system. Just click on the Download button you will find below the article.

Security specialists have several pieces of advice for those users who do not want to encounter an adware program ever again. First of all, it is advisable to download only those programs which you know are 100% reliable. Secondly, you should download them from 100% reliable sources only. Third, you should keep your security tool enabled. If you do not have one installed, be sure you do that in the near future. Finally, never click on ads and links placed on file-sharing and other third-party web pages.

Luckily, Survey Dash itself has an uninstaller and can be fully removed via Control Panel. Of course, users who do that for the first time might find that quite difficult, which is why we have prepared and provided the manual removal instructions (you can find them below). If you still see ads and experience redirections to other websites after the removal of this adware, scan your system with an antimalware scanner because there is a possibility that other threats are installed on your system too.
