HolaInput

What were you thinking while installing HolaInput? Did you think this program would be a very useful tool that would cut down your browsing time? This strange, suspicious application suggests it can help you type faster by guessing the words you are entering, and it is unlikely that many users will find the services provided by this tool desirable. As a matter of fact, it is much more likely that computer users will acquire this program without knowing much about it. It is likely to be bundled with more attractive programs, and you might even acquire it accidentally. Well, whether or not you have installed it without wanting to, we advise removing HolaInput from your operating system without further hesitation.

Computer users can download HolaInput from deskick.com and holainput.com. Both of these sites look identical ant not only because they are supported by Zoekyu Technology Inc., the developer of the suspicious PUP, which stands for “potentially unwanted program.” It is possible that other sites identical to these ones exist, and it is likely that the creator of the PUP has done this in the hopes of spreading their product wider. The installer on these websites is called "HolaInput_setup.exe", and it is obvious which program it is meant to introduce users to. When installing this program, you will be shown a box that promotes Search.holainput.com. Unfortunately, users are not provided with a chance to un-check this box, and the browser hijacker is forced upon them. According to our research, this hijacker can corrupt your Chrome browser; however, you can refuse it by rejecting the PUP itself.

Once installed, the PUP continuously runs in the background; however, it does not work as promised, which should help you realize how useless this program is. Of course, most users will realize this as soon as they encounter the hijacker. If you have installed the Search App by HolaInput yourself, you might know that it is permitted to read your browsing history, modify your data on the sites you visit, and change Chrome search tools. Although the official installer might inform you about the modifications made to your homepage, the hijacker is also capable of corrupting your search engine. No wonder most computer users recognize this supposedly reliable search tool as a browser hijacker. Even if you were aware of the search modifications, you would not be able to avoid them, unless you refused to install the strange PUP altogether. Needless to say, this is what we recommend.

Search.holainput.com redirects your searches to Google Search. Needless to say, if you are familiar with this search provider, you might think that everything is fine. Well, even if the search results are shown by Google, they could be affected by the hijacker. Furthermore, your searches and interaction with the results might be recorded to learn more about you and, possibly, provide you with more attractive content. Keep in mind that this is not always beneficial. If this information ends up in the hands of unreliable parties, they could use it to expose you to misleading, fake offers. Needless to say, if you interact with unreliable offers, you might open security backdoors and unknowingly invite other threats. If you think that this might have happened already, it is essential to inspect your operating system for existing malware, and we advise using a malware scanner for this.

If you agree that you should delete HolaInput from your operating system, you can use the instructions below to eliminate this strange, potentially unwanted program. Make sure you perform all of these steps carefully; otherwise, you might fail to eliminate this PUP successfully, and you do not want to return to the same problem again, do you? We recommend running a scanner one more time after you think you have cleaned your operating system just to check for any leftovers. Needless to say, you should return to your regular activity only when you know that your PC is clean. Another method that you can employ – and we recommend it if you also understand the importance of reliable Windows protection – is automatic removal. We advise installing an anti-malware tool to take care of all malicious programs and protect your PC in the future.
