Dealnj

Dealnj is an ad-supported program that is promoted on dealnj.co/lp/index-extlp.html. Even though it is its official website, the majority of users do not download it from there. In fact, a number of people cannot even say how this program has appeared on their systems. Therefore, we are 99% sure that it uses other distribution methods too. If Dealnj ever manages to slither onto your computer, we are sure that you will notice that really quickly because you will start seeing advertisements, e.g. pop-ups, coupons, banners, and offers. In most cases, they are visible on different shopping web pages. Dealnj itself is known to be a Google Chrome extension. In other words, it is primarily aimed at users whose default browser is Google Chrome. If you want to continue using this browser without interruptions, delete Dealnj from your PC immediately. Information on the removal process will be provided further in this article.

Researchers at pcthreat.com have tested this program and found that it is available on its official website or the Google Chrome Store (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/dealnj/icliakeeeonnadlkinkjbcdhbhijecej), so it is not surprising at all why so many people encounter Dealnj. Have you already installed the Dealnj extension? If so, it means that it has been installed to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions\icliakeeeonnadlkinkjbcdhbhijecej. As can be seen, the folder of the extension matches the ID which was assigned to Dealnj in the Chrome Web Stores. Actually, the presence of Dealnj extension is one of those symptoms that show that Dealnj is really installed on the system. Of course, you will see its commercial ads on your screen too.

No matter users download and install Dealnj themselves or not, Dealnj is the most prevalent in the following countries: India (4 241 users), Pakistan (1 019 users), Thailand (1 119 users), Brazil (6 957 users), and the United States (34 896 users). The number of infected users is growing every day. Users whose place of residence is completely different might encounter Dealnj as well. They tend to download this adware program from its official website or the Google Chrome Store. On top of that, this threat might slither onto computers together with other programs. In other words, it is often distributed in software bundles too. These software bundles are mainly downloaded from untrustworthy third-party web pages that promote different applications, P2P, and torrents. We want to warn you that thousands of other programs are distributed the same, so the possibility to infect the system once again is still there. If you want to protect your system from future threats, install a security tool on your PC and keep it enabled.

All users who encounter Dealnj should get rid of this program as soon as possible. The reason why it is a must to do that is simple – Dealnj might expose you to potential threats. Research has shown that Dealnj might provide users with ads and sponsored links that belong to third-parties. In other words, Dealnj has no control over them, which means that you might be provided with ads that redirect to corrupted web pages. If malware is there, it might easily slither onto your computer and thus cause harm to your system. As you have understood, you should rush to get rid of those ads. In the meantime, do not click on any of them. We cannot say how they look because their appearance depends on the country a user is located in and web pages he/she surfs; however, we have still observed that Dealnj might display ads from such domains as Viking-direct.co.uk, banggood.com, target.com, 4allvitamins.com, and verizonwireless.com.

Unfortunately, Dealnj not only shows commercial advertisements, but it might also gather information about you. Specialists have managed to find out that this piece of software might need information about the web pages you tend to visit, the content you access, the ads you click on, the time you spend surfing particular web pages, and the like. The reason why it does that is really simple – Dealnj wants to show targeted ads for users.

It would be best to delete Dealnj from the system completely. Unfortunately, it will not be so easy to do that because this adware program cannot be erased via Control Panel. Luckily, you will get rid of it fully if you delete its extension by following our instructions (see below) or via the Add-ons Manager. If you simply do not want to get rid of this adware yourself, scan your system with an automatic malware remover. You must use a reliable tool for this matter, e.g. SpyHunter.
