Basically, after the installation, Winzix will place a header and footer on the file and that's all - no compression at all. Winzix is free to download and install, therefore the creator of the software makes money through advertising and possibly other nefarious means. Moreover, Winzix has a dangerous Trojan bundled with it, therefore it is a serious threat to the security of your machine. Once executed, Winzix will display pop-up adverts and may download additional malicious software.
