HomeworkSimplified Toolbar

HomeworkSimplified Toolbar was created for the high-school children. This program promises to assist them with Math, Science, English, and History homework by providing links to different sources that should help them find answers to the questions they might have. Although the links displayed by this program are unlikely to take you to malicious websites, you should not trust them unless you research all of them individually. Even if you find that these links are harmless, there are a few reasons why you might choose to remove HomeworkSimplified Toolbar from your PC. If you have already decided to delete this program, move to the removal guide below.

If you have downloaded HomeworkSimplified Toolbar from its official site, homeworksimplified.com, it is unlikely that you were offered other suspicious programs, besides Ask Search, which we will discuss later on. However, if you downloaded this toolbar using the services of an unknown distributor, you could have acquired HomeworkSimplified Toolbar along with more unreliable programs that you might have to delete from your PC. According to our researchers, it is not uncommon to find programs created by Mindspark Interactive Network bundled together. This means that you might have to delete CrazyForCraft Toolbar, FunPopularGames Toolbar, and similar suspicious browser extensions.

Ask Search is a search provider that always comes packaged with Mindspark software. Although many computer users think that they need to delete a browser hijacker when they find this search tool installed without their permission, our researchers have found that this search tool is not installed silently. When downloading HomeworkSimplified Toolbar, you will be introduced to Ask Search as an additional offer, and, if you do not want to replace your regular search tools, you will be provided with the option to reject it. If you do not take this opportunity, home.tb.ask.com will be set as your homepage on Chrome, Firefox, or Internet Explorer, depending on which browser you download the toolbar on.

The search provider associated with HomeworkSimplified Toolbar is only supported by Ask Search, but the search results shown to you are likely to be controlled by Mindspark, which is why we do not recommend trusting them. If you notice sponsored links (advertisements), you should refrain from clicking on them; otherwise, you could expose yourself to unreliable deals and even phishing scams. Hopefully, you will not have to deal with this, but this is one of the reasons to delete HomeworkSimplified Toolbar from your PC and browsers.

If you use Internet Explorer, you will only need to remove HomeworkSimplified Toolbar from your computer. If you have installed this toolbar onto Chrome and Firefox browsers, you will have to delete unwanted browser extensions. As you can see, the removal of this suspicious toolbar is not at all complicated. What most computer users struggle with is the removal of Ask Search and the programs that come packaged with HomeworkSimplified Toolbar. If you are not sure you can handle the removal of all unreliable programs, you can rely on an automated malware remover.
