YesSearches.com

Although at the moment YesSearches.com is down, many computer users are reporting this search provider to act as a browser hijacker. If this search tool has replaced your regular homepage and search engine tools without permission, there is no doubt that you have a browser hijacker on your hands. Needless to say, hijackers require removal, and the quicker you get rid of this one, the better. Do you know how you want to remove YesSearches.com from your browsers? Whether or not you have made up your mind about this search tool, we advise reading this report first.

According to our research, YesSearches.com shares a domain (http://w3bin.com/ip_info/184.168.221.40) with other unreliable search providers, such as Searchatomic.com, and advertisement-supported software. This suggests that it is controlled by an unreliable party. This also suggests that YesSearches.com could be associated with unreliable advertising. If you do not delete this hijacker from your operating system, it is possible that you will be exposed to ads without even knowing it. For example, the links shown to you under Shopping and Games could promote unreliable vendors or gaming sites. What is most disconcerting is that you could be exposed to sponsored search results, which is an important reason to delete YesSearches.com.

Our research team has found that YesSearches.com is unlikely to modify your default search provider. This is the kind of hijacker that only affects your homepage, but that does not minimize the risks associated with this infection. As mentioned previously, this threat can promote links to unreliable sites and show sponsored search results, but that is not all you need to beware of. The cookies installed by this program could provide the developers of the hijacker and their associates with information about you and your virtual activity. Unfortunately, these cookies are unpredictable, and, if you do not remove them, they could be used to leak sensitive information. Although you might be able to removeYesSearches.com-related cookies, we suggest removing this hijacker with all of its components.

Needless to say, YesSearches.com might consume a lot of your attention, but you must not ignore other unreliable programs active on your operating system. It was found that YesSearches.com usually travels packaged with third-party programs, and some of them could be extremely dangerous and clandestine. Even if you do not believe that other unreliable programs were installed on your PC, you need to scan your operating system. If the scanner does not identify any other threats, you can focus on the removal of YesSearches.com. You probably do not need further explanation as to why this hijacker deserves removal.

Although it is most likely that YesSearches.com will only take over the homepage of your web browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Internet Explorer), we have created a removal guide that will help you change the unwanted search provider as well, just in case. Of course, you must run a scanner to see if all components of this malicious browser hijacker are removed. If you find leftovers, make sure you get rid of them as soon as possible. We advise using an automated malware remover to take care of that.
