If you have been using a program called JustCloud, then we want to inform you that it is considered a potentially unwanted program that you should remove. This program is not malicious; however the services it provides are not the greatest. It is a cloud storage service which is similar to OneDrive, iDrive, and Google Drive. If you want to unlock JustCloud’s full potential you will have to purchase this program. However, no matter which version you get, it will always get beaten by its competitors. There is more to this application than meets the eye, so we invite you to read this short article which provides the most relevant information regarding JustCloud.
From the very outset, it must be said that it is not a one off program. It has at least one clone. It is identical to MyPCBackup that was released a few years ago. JustCloud has been developed and published by a JDI Backup Limited, a company based in the United Kingdom. The reason why this program is undesirable is the fact that is can be found bundled with other applications which are not always legitimate. It might be found bundled with adware which is regarded as a mildly malicious. However, you should not take any chances and remove any additional software that was installed together with this program. However, it appears that most users get it from its website at Justcloud.com. In order to download this program, the website will require you to provide your email address.
JustCloud offers a file backup function, which we find very neat and useful. Being a cloud storage service, it obviously gives users the opportunity to upload files to personal cloud which can be accessed by logging in with your account from another PC, tablet or phone. It also has a convenient method of sharing files with people who do not use JustCloud. This program can generate a download link. However, there is a downside to this program. At the very most you can upload up to 1GB of information. This limit can be raised by buying the Premium or Ultimate version. But other cloud storage providers such as OneDrive and Google Drive offer 15GB of free storage space, and iDrive offers 5GB. That is a lot of free storage space you can use. This program has other issues. It can display third-party advertisements. And the company is not liable or undesirable consequences that can occur as a result of clicking its promotions. Therefore, we are of the opinion that it would be wise to switch to another cloud storage program, provided that you use JustCloud.
This program only offers 1GB of free storage space while its best-known competitors offer from 5GB to 15GB. We do not think that this program is reliable, because it is a clone of a previously released program called MyPCBackup. JustCloud might also display third-party ads that can be unreliable. So, overall, this program has nothing useful to offer. It performs its functions well, but it the fact that it comes bundled with unreliable programs and displays ads is a real deal breaker, so you might want to remove it.
