SearchQuest

SearchQuest is an application that should make “searching and translating information you find online easy.” The program seems to be very trustworthy at first sight, so it is not surprising that many users install it on their systems. In fact, our specialists do not believe that SearchQuest can help you find and translate the information you need more quickly than other programs. There is one main reason for that – SearchQuest is an advertising-supported application. If you do not know what these programs do, you should know that they simply show commercial advertisements. You will see them if you surf the Internet using Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox. These ads are really annoying, but they might also redirect you to untrustworthy websites; thus, we think that they are rather dangerous. Unfortunately, you will see them day after day. Of course, you can eliminate them from your screen – you have to delete SearchQuest from the system. We will explain you how to do that in this article.

It really seems that several useful tools are integrated into one program at first sight; however, it is unclear whether it is really going to act in beneficial way. On top of that, it will undoubtedly show various commercial advertisements. In other words, you will see coupons, pop-ups, shopping suggestions, and other kinds of commercial ads on your screen. All these ads are based on your interests, so you might find them very interesting. Even though ads look decent and it even seems that they can help you to save some money at eBay, Amazon, and other online shops, you should still not click on them because you might infect your system with malware. Adware programs not only show ads, but also record details about users and even connect to the Internet. It can be suggested that they do that in order to send the collected details to third-party advertisers. This is definitely not very innocent.

SearchQuest has replaced dozens of similar programs, including WordProser, ClickCaption, TermTutorm, Highlightly, and Quiknowledge. In other words, it is not unique and it is not surprising at all that it acts exactly like programs it has replaced. Research has shown that SearchQuest is mainly distributed via Amonetize bundles and it usually slithers onto computers together with PriceLess, PicColor, and VuuPC. These programs are untrustworthy too and there is a possibility that they will attract other suspicious programs. Therefore, we highly recommend that you erase them from the system. Keep in mind that this might not be very easy to do that; however, we think that you should check the Control Panel first.

The quickest and easiest way to delete SearchQuest is to scan the system with an antimalware scanner, such as SpyHunter. In order to do that, you will have to acquire this tool and then simply scan your system. Another way to get rid of SearchQuest is to delete it via Control Panel. We do not think that you will find this difficult if you have deleted some kind of program previously. If you feel that you need help, you can use our manual removal instructions.
