  1. Open Chrome and tap Alt+F.
  2. Select Settings and navigate to On Startup.
  3. Select Open a specific page or set of pages and click Set pages.
  4. Identify the unwanted URL, delete/overwrite it, and click OK.
  5. Navigate to Appearance and select Show Home button.
  6. Click Change and delete/overwrite the unwanted URL. Click OK.
  7. Navigate to Search and click Manage search engines…
  8. Select the preferred search provider and click X on the URL of the unwanted one. Click Done.
