EasyMailLogin Toolbar

EasyMailLogin Toolbar is another product of Mindspark Interactive Network Inc, a company renowned by the industry for its malicious application releases. We are confident that this toolbar is malicious and that you should remove it, but if you need proof, we will give it to you. EasyMailLogin Toolbar is regarded as a bad toolbar that does nothing you cannot do yourself. For the most part, the toolbar features bookmarks to email-related websites, but, the thing is, you can make such bookmarks yourself, since all major web browsers have a dedicated bookmarks toolbar that you can customize according to your own specifications. So why not remove EasyMailLogin Toolbar right now?

To date we know of two methods by which EasyMailLogin Toolbar is distributed around the web. One method most commonly used by Mindspark is via a dedicated website. In this case, the website in question is called Easymaillogin.com. The second method is by using malicious software bundles, but at this stage we do not know the specific names of the malware programs that are bundled with EasyMailLogin Toolbar. Regardless of how you got this application, it functions the same, so you should remove it for reasons we are going to explain right now.

Once your computer is infected with EasyMailLogin Toolbar (yes that is right – infected), it will immediately change your default homepage to an odd-looking version of Ask.com, and it will also change your default search engine. Your new homepage will contain shortcuts to various popular websites, such as Yahoo, Facebook, Youtube, and so on. But again you can make bookmarks yourself. As the name implies EasyMailLogin Toolbar has been created to help you login to all of your email accounts with ease. The toolbar features bookmarks for the most popular email providers, such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo Mail, and so on.

However, we are of the opinion that you should remove EasyMailLogin Toolbar, because its customized homepage is definitely unreliable. The customized search process might favor specific websites that could be unreliable – contain malicious content, feature dangerous advertisements – and cause you a lot of problems by compromising your computer’s security. Therefore, we recommend that you remove this toolbar as soon as you can.

If you want to remove this application correctly, please follow our manual removal guide provided at the end of this article. However, a better alternative would be to use a reliable antimalware scanner that would be able to delete all junk files that are usually left behind when doing it manually. In any case, the choice is yours.
