OurSurfing.com

OurSurfing.com is presented to Firefox, IE, and Chrome users as a search engine that can save your time and energy. The truth is that OurSurfing.com does the opposite of saving time. This application does not present search results; instead, it redirects you to a third-party search engine (e.g., yahoo.com). Of course, this is not how a reliable search tool works! Instead of trusting that you will find use for it, we recommend that you remove OurSurfing.com.

Our malware researchers working in our internal lab have discovered that OurSurfing.com is identical to Oursearching.com. This is another suspicious search engine that you might have to remove from your web browsers. After all, these search tools are not as beneficial as you might think, which is why most computer users decide to delete OurSurfing.com as soon as they find out how it works. Needless to say, we also recommend removing OurSurfing.com and replacing it with a more reliable and useful tool.

The official publisher of OurSurfing.com is SmartWave Technology Limited, but it is impossible to say if other parties could not get involved with the distribution of this browser hijacker. Our researchers warn that if you download OurSurfing.com from third-party distributors, you could install Yet Another Cleaner, V9 Redirect Virus, and other suspicious, undesirable programs. These programs belong to the Elex Technology Co., and since OurSurfing.com promotes a link to gaggame.com (or 337.com) – which has been created by Elex – it is possible that other software created by this company will be associated with the undesirable hijacker. Of course, you might have to delete unrelated adware, PUPs, and malware.

There are three simple reasons why you should remove OurSurfing.com. First of all, as mentioned already, it does not work as a beneficial search engine. Secondly, the search engine uses intrusive tracking cookies to spy on you. Finally, it can hijack the home page of your browsers without your notice! This is the sort of activity that you would notice when dealing with malicious software, and so we urge you to delete OurSurfing.com as a malicious search engine as well.

The removal of OurSurfing.com could not be more straightforward. First, you need to replace the undesirable Home Page URL, which you can do using our manual removal guide. After this, you must install a malware scanner to make sure that other unreliable programs have not been installed. If they have, you must remove them! We suggest installing an automatic malware removal tool which could delete OurSurfing.com-related threats, as well as protect your operating system, which you need even if OurSurfing.com is the only threat installed on your PC.
