Qozmo Search

Qozmo Search is a search engine that could be exploited by malevolent third parties to redirect you to affiliated websites. This search engine usually affects users in the Netherlands as the entire page, and other related websites are in Dutch. If you notice that you get redirected through Qozmo Search often, you should scan your computer with the SpyHunter free scanner because there is a good chance you have unwanted adware applications on board. You should also restore your browser settings to default in order to get rid of Qozmo Search permanently.

This search engine is related to mavoo.net that is published by LinkFeed LLC. However, there is no direct download link that would allow you to install either. Qozmo Search most probably gets distributed around in software packages, so it would not be surprising if you had more than just one unwanted application on board. This means that whatever you have recently installed on your PC, it has modified your browser settings and other Internet preferences. As a result, whenever you try to open a website, rather than going straight to the page, you get redirected to Qozmo Search and then land on the site you wanted to go.

Although you end up on the website you want to be on, it does not mean that you should tolerate such redirections. Constant redirections to Qozmo Search mean that your web browsing habits are being tracked. Some adware or potentially unwanted program collects information on what websites visit, and that is most probably done for online marketing purposes. Thus, in the end it could result in the onslaught of commercial advertisements that would be customized according to your likes and preferences. Qozmo Search does not display any pop-ups or other types of ads itself, but it could easily be used as an information gathering tool by unreliable third parties.

Needless to say, constant exposure to commercial third-party content does not mean that you will get infected with malware, but that is also a possibility. Hence, if you want to protect your computer from harm, you need to remove Qozmo Search as soon as possible. As mentioned in the first paragraph, you will most probably need to employ a licensed antispyware tool to search for potentially unwanted programs because Qozmo Search does not have an uninstall utility.

Nevertheless, you can remove all the unwanted programs from your computer via Control Panel manually, and we also provide instructions on how to restore your browser settings to default. For any further questions, do not hesitate to leave us a comment.
