DailyHomeGuide Toolbar

DailyHomeGuide Toolbar is an application that promises its users to provide them with free “do it yourself” advice. Once installed, the toolbar presents Shop, DIY Projects, Remodeling, Save, and EnergyAudits tabs. If you click these tabs, you are presented with various links to third-party sites that are meant to provide you with the appropriate content. Needless to say, the toolbar works, and not many users choose to delete it. Nonetheless, there is one reason why some computer users believe that they must remove DailyHomeGuide Toolbar.

Mindspark Interactive Network is the company that has developed DailyHomeGuide Toolbar, and various other browser extensions, including PremierDownloadManager Toolbar and TranslationBuddy Toolbar. All toolbars designed by Mindspark are introduced to users packaged with Ask Search tools. These tools are installed by default; however, every user has a chance to reject them, which is why we do not delete DailyHomeGuide Toolbar-related search tools as browser hijackers. Nonetheless, the installation of the suspicious search software is the main motive behind the removal of the toolbar itself.

If you have downloaded the DailyHomeGuide Toolbar from dailyhomeguide.com, there is no doubt that you have had your chance to refuse the installation of Ask Search tools. Of course, if you have installed the application abruptly, you may have missed the opportunity. If so, the home page of your IE, Firefox, and Chrome browsers is now changed to home.tb.ask.com, and the web searches are operated via search.tb.ask.com. Should you delete these search tools? Should you delete DailyHomeGuide Toolbar alongside?

Needless to say, you should not hesitate to remove Ask search tools if you have installed them by accident, or if you have better alternatives. Home.tb.ask.com is not a malicious search tool, and it is not operated by cyber criminals. Of course, you should be cautious about the ad-supported search results, and you should review the Privacy Policy before deciding whether to remove this DailyHomeGuide Toolbar-related search tool or to keep it running. Nonetheless, our malware researchers do not indicate the removal of Ask Search software as crucial.
