UniCoupon

UniCoupon is an adware program that collects information on your web browsing habits and later on makes use of that data to generate commercial pop-up advertisements. UniCoupon tries to make an impression that it wants to help you purchase goods online at an optimal price. However, this application relies on third-party advertising networks for the pop-up content and it cannot guarantee that it is 100% safe. Hence, it is necessary to remove UniCoupon from the PC if you want to keep your system safe and clean, and to do not forget to scan it regularly with an antispyware application.

This adware application comes with a homepage at unicoupons.info or unicoupon.info. The website itself is very generic, and it does not provide you with enough of information on the program. It only says you most probably love shopping because “most online shoppers do, because of the convenience offered by Internet shopping.” Then it says that these days internet shopping becomes more “excited and budget-friendly.” Thus, UniCoupon maintains that it “lets you view the deals and promos at your favorite sites to cut your expenses.” It would be great if that were true, but UniCoupon is just another adware application in line, and you should not trust it.

This application is very similar to CouponScanner, LuckyCoupon, SaveNShop and other adware programs that get distributed via InstallRex, Vittalia and Amonetize installers. As you can already tell, it is not possible to download UniCoupon at the main homepage because there is no such thing as download button. Hence, this application gets distributed through third-party websites that may not be as reliable as you would like them to be. Do not forget that the aforementioned installers usually carry more than just one unwanted application, so if you install UniCoupon, you most probably will setup more adware applications on your computer as well.

The most obvious nuisance related to UniCoupon is the pop-up ads. They appear on your browser each time you access a popular online shopping site (such as eBay, Amazon, BestBuy, etc.). UniCoupon ads will display links and offers related to your most recent search queries. It will make an impression that you can purchase something you want at the lowest price possible. However, clicking UniCoupon ads is not recommended because you might be led to a completely unrelated website that collects traffic data for marketing purposes or even worse – you could be exposed to malware distribution schemes.

Before any of that happens, uninstall UniCoupon from your computer and then scan the PC with SpyHunter free scanner. A full PC scan will help you determine whether your computer is safe and clean. In the case of multiple adware infections, invest in a licensed antispyware program and terminate all the programs automatically.
