NetTock Virus

If you notice a new extension called NetTock onto your Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox browser – do not panic. You simply have downloaded and installed NetTock Virus. The word virus sounds looming, but in reality this application is an adware program that simply tries to make easy money for its creators. It will not rob you off directly, so there is no need to bite your nails, but you still need to remove NetTock Virus from your computer because adware programs cannot be trusted. Scroll down to the bottom of this description for the manual removal guide.

The reason adware programs cannot be trusted is that they are highly vulnerable to a third-party exploitation. In other words, NetTock Virus may not try to infect you with malware or steal your information directly, but if it gets exploited by cybercriminals, it may start displaying or promoting corrupted content related to malware distribution. In such a case, you need to get rid of NetTock Virus as soon as possible, so that you would avoid further system threats. A full system scan with SpyHunter free scanner is also a good idea because you are bound to have more than just one adware program on board.

We are sure that you have at least a few adware programs on your computer because NetTock Virus comes bundled with other freeware. This program is developed by SuperWeb LLC, just like DizzyDing, ResultsBay, Loffinam and an entire list of other unwanted applications. Just like its predecessors, NetTock Virus has an official homepage at nettock.com, but clicking download button over there simply redirects you to a new blank page. Thus, it means that NetTock Virus resorts to using another way of distribution, mainly – bundled download. It arrives together with a number of other unwanted applications when you download freeware from third-party file hosting webpages, or click on fake update links on various commercial websites.

Once NetTock Virus enters your PC, it starts collecting data on what websites you visit and what you search for online. This information is necessary in order for adware application to display custom ads whenever you access shopping websites. It is necessary to point out that you cannot trust any of the ads because NetTock Virus could be easily exploited by cybercriminals to promote their content. This program’s privacy policy does not cover third-party content, so if you get infected with malware via NetTock Virus ads, you will be the one to blame.

It is important that you keep your system safe and clean, so you have to terminate all the potential threats immediately. Access Control Panel and uninstall NetTock manually right now. After manual removal, acquire a powerful antispyware tool and scan your computer. If any additional adware programs are found, delete them at once. Do all you can to protect your PC from various intruders.
