However, the functionality of TrusteDealz is highly questionable, and computer security experts strongly recommend removing TrusteDealz from the PC as soon as you can. The reason why there might be other potentially unwanted applications on your computer is that TrusteDealz cannot be downloaded at its official website, and therefore, it is distributed bundled with other freeware. It says that TrusteDealz is able to provide you “the best shopping deals on the net”, and that the application is a “free, safe, friendly browser extension that will help you save money while shopping online at your favorite stores”. It would be great if that were true, but unfortunately, evidence show that more often than not TrusteDealz provides to be an annoying application that actually slows down the entire browser.

TrusteDealz is compatible with Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer web browsers, so it does not really matter which browser is set as your default one. If you manage to download TrusteDealz bundled with freeware, it will eventually be installed on your browser. For example, the installation file for TrusteDealz may come bundled with various screensavers that you find on random third party websites. Take note, that when you run the screensaver setup file, it is very likely that you will install TrusteDealz automatically as well.

On the other hand, TrusteDealz does not enter your system surreptitiously; because the application does have an installation wizard, so unless you skip all the installation steps, you should know that you have install TrusteDealz onto your PC.

Once the installation is complete, TrusteDealz makes use of MintCast Networks adware engine to generate pop-ups and other type of commercial advertisements on every online shopping website that you visit. Such pop-ups are very annoying and they may also unintentionally redirect you to corrupted websites that might eventually lead to malware infection.

Adware applications are created to generate financial revenue so they are not directly related to malware, but it is very common that they get exploited for malevolent aims and objectives.
