Quick Start

Quick Start is a free browser add-on which can provide you with links to third party websites. Quick Start advertisements are displayed on new browser tabs, and we recommend that you remove the application even though you find that the advertisements or links are familiar to you. Quick Start can promote social networking websites, shopping websites, online gaming websites, etc. Quick Start does not endorse the content of the websites advertised, which means that it is not liable for the consequences that follow your interaction with those third parties. Once you access a website promoted by the browser plug-in, you start interacting with that particular website. Since the browser extension is distributed by various applications, some of which are unreliable, you may want to remove it from the computer along with those undesirable programs.

It has been found that Quick Start is bundled with the Internet browser TrustedWeb and two browser hijackers, which are key-find.com and webssearches.com. In the case of TrustedWeb, Quick Start is not the only application installed. The Internet browser also contains General Crawler, Free Smileys & Emoticons, and Charm Savings. Moreover, TrustedWeb promotes search.conduit.com, which is set as the home page. The search engine also displays advertisements, which you should ignore. Moreover, it is important to note that TrustedWeb install TrustedShopper, which an adware program. The application reads the browsing history and records search terms and other non-personally identifiable information.

The browser hijackers which distribute Quick Start change the settings of the browser. For example, the browser hijacker key-find.com redirects computer users to search.webssearches.com, whereas the browser hijacker Webssearches, replace the home page of a browser to istart.webssearches.com. The two browser hijackers generate sponsored links, which are displays above the search engine results. If your browsers are hijacker, your major concern should be how to fix the browsers and protect the system against similar situations in the future.

Automatic removal is by far the easiest way of spyware and malware removal, and we recommend that instead of wasting your time you implement a powerful anti-spyware program. Use SpyHunter if you want to get rid of Quick Start and fix your hijacked browsers. The instructions provide below may help you reset the browsers and eliminate the unwanted applications; however, bear in mind that some of the files associated with the unwanted browser plug-in or the browser hijackers may remain within the system.
