Blinkx is a browser plugin that promises to help you access the most popular films and TV shows in a blink of an eye. Blinkx is compatible with Internet Explorer 6 or higher and Firefox; thus, if you are using any of these browsers, you should be cautious. We believe that it is better to erase Blinkx browser plugin from your computer, if you do not want to notice any of its annoying features or even infect your system with malicious software.

You might have probably been lured into downloading Blinkx because it offers many useful features, for instance, access popular shows, free TV, and popular films easily and quickly. However, this is not entirely true because it has been observed that many links leading to shows and films are corrupted and it is rather hard to find the working one. What is more, Blinkx might change your homepage and you will be forced to use Ask search engine. It has been observed that this search engine might show you different ads on the top of search results, so you might click on them accidentally and be lead to the websites that include malicious software. We believe that it is not worth risking; thus, we recommend that you remove Blinkx browser plugin from your system.

If you cannot remember that you have downloaded and installed Blinkx, you should know that it is not a necessary condition in order to notice its presence onto your computer. Thus, you should always install new programs carefully in order to be able to choose the installation options. Another suspicious fact about this browser plugin is the observation that it might collect some non-personal information and send it to the servers of Blinkx. This data will supposedly help to improve services. The only decent solution is to erase Blinkx entirely from your system.
