ConnectSo Toolbar

ConnectSo Toolbar is a browser plugin which is often recognized as a potentially undesirable program or even a browser hijacker. Do you know why? It is because this toolbar comes bundled with unreliable search tools, Value Apps, Wajam and Search Protect. The plugin sets to change your default search and home page automatically, which is why it deserves the browser hijacker title. On the other hand, you are given the option to refuse the browser modifications upon the installation, which is why we recommend that you pay close attention when installing the extension from connectso.ourtoolbar.com. Nonetheless, the presented search tool is identified as Trovi Search and this is not the search tool that gets installed. Continue reading to learn how to remove ConnectSo Toolbar and the undesirable additional software.

Do you know anything about the applications which come bundled with ConnectSo Toolbar? Wajam is a social search engine which requires you to login via Facebook or Twitter accounts. If you do not want the suspicious application interacting with your social networking accounts on your behalf, we recommend that you decline this product when you are offered to. What about Search Protect? This is another application which you can decline by unmarking a box asking whether you wish to install Trovi Search. This add-on can collect information relating to your web browsing, which is why we do not recommend trusting it. Unfortunately, Value Apps and PriceGong are both attached to the ConnectSo Toolbar whether you like it or not. If you activate these plugins, they may access, collect and use personal information, and this may be used to present virtual coupons hiding links to other suspicious and unreliable services. Note that these could be installed alongside Quizulous Toolbar, Guffins Toolbar, and other Conduit browser plugins as well.

If you have accepted the Trovi search modifications, search.conduit.com must be set as the start page of your Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer browsers. This search engine provides Bing search results, and we recommend that you set bing.com as the home page if you want instead of the suspicious, potentially undesirable search provider which may also present suspicious online advertisements. You can delete ConnectSo Toolbar and other undesirable programs manually (see the guides below) but is this something you will want to deal with every time a strange, potentially dangerous program enters your PC? If it is not – install automatic malware removal software.
