Grabrez

Have you noticed the program called GrabRez residing on your system and now wonder whether you should keep it there? Unfortunately, we believe that it would be better to get rid of this annoying application because it is classified as an advertising-supported program and it might force you experience some inconvenience. Even though this program claims to be able to provide you the best tools for improving your browsing experience, we do not recommend believing this program. First of all, it will not allow you to browse the web freely; secondly, it might cause harm to the security of your system. It does not matter which browser you use or which operating systems runs onto your computer, it is still very probable that you encounter GrabRez.

Our advice is to remove GrabRez from your system as soon as possible because all the advertisements that it is going to show you might lead you to potential threats. You might never know where GrabRez is going to redirect you after you click on any of those ads; thus, you should better remove GrabRez from your system entirely. What is more, you will not be able to surf the web freely because all these advertisements will keep popping-up and you will not be able to close them and make them disappear forever.

The other reason why we suggest that you get rid of this advertising-supported program is the fact that it is going to gather some of the information related to your browsing habits. This information is non-personally identifiable; however, it is still rather suspicious to reveal the browsing history and search queries to strangers. Technical characteristics such as your IP address, your approximate location as well as the version of your browser and operating system is also gathered. The publishers of GrabRez claim that this is required in order to improve the service, provide you more relevant content, and the like. If you do not want to share such data with anyone, the only effective way is to remove GrabRez from the computer.

Follow the instructions which we have provided for you below and you will have no difficulties in removing GrabRez. However, if you are a less experienced computer user and manual removal seems too difficult, you can acquire a reliable antimalware tool SpyHunter and it will do all the work for you. Besides, your computer will be protected from future infections as well.

    I found FilterApp_C.exe in "c:\program files\findright\" folder.
I could not delete it. Kill the process then it comes back in task manager.
More files in same folder with similar problems and running in task manager:

    xtlsapp.exe
    updateFindRight.exe
    utilFindRight
    XTLS.dll
