PassShow

PassShow is a browser add-on which shows the characters in the password box so that you can make no mistakes then typing your password in. The application is available at passshow.com and is compatible with Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. However, PassShow can also be bundled with other free programs, which is done to install the browser add-on to as many computers as possible. PassShow is categorized as potentially unwanted program (PUP) because it may monitor how you browse the Internet, and if you simply do not trust it or want to remove it from the computer, this report will help you to tackle the issue.

The seemingly useful program may provide you with different advertisements, including web banners, pop-ups, pop-unders, coupons, price comparison information and in-line ads. They are displayed through Revizer’s Advertising Module, which does not take responsibility for the advertisements and the websites that are being promoted. The advertising content is known to be provided by Dealply, Superfish, Jollywallet, GetDeal and other advertisers. Even though the advertisers are said to be carefully selected, you are not guaranteed that all the websites to which you are taken are highly reliable. If you have installed PassShow and now cannot browse the Internet because of different advertisements, remove the program without hesitation.

You may also decide to remove PassShow because of its capability to collect non-personally information. For example, a cookie is sent to your computer to record your search terms and the details of the operating system, whereas a pixel tag is used to enable the display of different advertisements. Similar details may also be collected by the third-party websites to which you are exposed by PassShow. A lot of cookies and other tracking techniques may be used to determine your browsing patterns and if you are eager to bring an end to it, you should rely on a powerful spyware removal tool.

It is possible to uninstallPassShow from the system, but are you sure that no components of PassShow are left within the system?
