DaleSearch

  1. Find Start in the lower left corner and click it.
  2. Locate Settings and click Control Panel.
  3. Open Control Panel and double-click Add or Remove Programs to open it.
  4. Select the application which you want to delete and click Remove.

Windows Vista/7

  1. Open the Start menu and click Control Panel.
  2. Find Uninstall a program and select it.
  3. Right-click on the application which you want to delete.
  4. Select Uninstall to remove it from your computer.

Windows 8

  1. Press the Windows key to access Metro UI menu.
  2. Right-click on the background and select All apps.
  3. Open Control Panel and click Uninstall a program.
  4. Find the unwanted application and select Uninstall.

Internet Explorer

  1. Open your browser.
  2. Press Alt+T to open Tools.
  3. Select Manage Add-ons.
  4. In the menu on the left side find Toolbars and Extensions and select it.
  5. Click on the add-ons you want to remove and click the Disable button.
  6. Go to Search Providers and click Remove to delete the search engine.
  7. Select a new search engine from the list and click Set as default.
  8. Click Close to confirm the changes.
  9. Press Alt+T again and click Internet Options.
  10. Click on the General tab.
  11. In the address box, type in the web page address that you want to set as your homepage.
  12. Click OK button to save all the changes.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open your browser.
  2. Press Alt+T to access the Tools menu.
  3. Click on the Add-ons, then Extensions, and select the unwanted program from the list.
  4. Click the Remove button to delete the application.
  5. Click Close to save the changes.
  6. In the right corner of the browser, find the search provider icon in the box and click on it.
  7. Click on the Manage search engines.
  8. Select the search engine which you want to delete and click Remove and click OK.
  9. Select a new search engine from the drop-down menu.
  10. Press Alt+T again to access Tools and then click Options.
  11. Click on the General tab.
  12. In the space below type in the URL of the homepage.
  13. Click OK to save changes and close the window.

Google Chrome

  1. Open the browser and tap Alt+F.
  2. Go to Tools and click Extensions.
  3. Find the application which you want to delete and click the recycle bin icon.
  4. Find Settings in the same window under the heading Chrome.
  5. Under the heading Search click Manage search engines.
  6. In the box which appears, mark the engine which you want to delete and click X.
  7. Select a new search engine from the list and click Make a default.
  8. Click Done to close the window and save the changes.
  9. In the menu Settings, Mark the Show home button in the Appearance section.
  10. After you mark it, the Change optionappears below it, click on it.
  11. In the dialog box which appears, mark the Open this page option and enter the homepage address.
  12. Click the OK button to save the changes you made.
