If you click the message or the link, depending on the version of the scam you find, you are taken to a survey page. If you give permission for the suspicious application to access your profile, you are provided with several surveys. Two of them read “FREE 500 Gift Card to spend at Argos” and “Free 1.000 at Marks & Spencers. The people behind the surveys make money every time a new victim selects one of the options that he or she is provided with. It is likely that your profile will be altered on your behalf after you fill in your details in the survey form. Your Facebook friends will find suspicious links on your profile all of which are posted by the unwanted application.

If you do not want to have your profile modified by Facebook Change Color Virus, ignore its invitation to change the existing color.
