Chitka Pop-ups

Chitka Pop-ups is a type of adware that displays annoying pop-up advertisements while you browse the Internet. This program has several ways to enter your system, and quite often users are responsible for installing the application on their PC themselves, because Chitka Pop-ups are often bundled with freeware or browser helper objects, that are downloaded from third party websites and installed on target computers. Although adware programs are not extremely dangerous computer threats, you need to remove Chitka Pop-ups from your computer as soon as you can, because prolonged stay in your system may result in serious security issues.

At first you may not realize that you are infected with adware, because the ads from Chitka Pop-ups look like notifications from Facebook, as they share similar design. These ads can pop-up at the bottom right corner of your desktop or anywhere else. What is more, unlike many other adware platforms, Chitka Pop-ups does not come with Close button, which means that if these pop-ups appear while you browse the Internet, they simply remain on top of your browser, thus hindering your overall browsing session. It does not matter which websites you visit, Chitka Pop-ups appear on any popular website, including Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and so on.

You have to keep in mind, that in order to generate these pop-ups the adware program makes use of cookies to collect information on your web browsing habits. Once they have that data collected, Chitka Pop-ups display ads that are related to whatever you browser about on the net. These methods are used in order to make you click on an ad and then redirect you to a particular commercial website.

Although the main reason why Chitka Pop-ups appears in your computer is to promote certain commercial web-pages, this program might as well become instrumental in malware distribution scheme as well. It is rather common for adware programs to get exploited in malware distribution schemes, so you will make a wise decision if you remove Chitka Pop-ups from your computer immediately.

Due to the fact that Chitka Pop-ups changes your browser settings, you should change specific browser settings and then run a full system scan with SpyHunter free scanner, to check whether you have any other potentially dangerous programs to remove.
