Remove the unwanted home page/search engine

Remove from Google Chrome:

  1. Open the browser and simultaneously tap Alt+F.
  2. Select Settings and navigate to On Startup.
  3. Mark Open a specific page or set of pages and click Set pages.
  4. Change/delete the provided URL and click OK.
  5. Move to Appearance, mark Show Home button and click Change.
  6. Repeat step 4 to remove the unwanted home page.
  7. Move to Search and select a new search provider from the drop down menu.
  8. Click Manage search engine and remove (click X) the unwanted option, then click OK.

Remove from Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Simultaneously tap Alt+T and select Options.
  2. Click the General tab and navigate to Home Page.
  3. Overwrite/delete the unwanted URL and click OK.
  4. Now move the cursor to the top right corner of the screen and click on the icon placed on the left of the search box.
  5. Select Manage search engines and Remove the unwanted provider.
  6. Click OK.

Remove from Internet Explorer:

  1. Open IE, simultaneously tap Alt+T and select Manage Add-ons.
  2. From the menu on the left select Search Providers.
  3. Select the unwanted provider and click Remove. Click Close.
  4. Simultaneously tap Alt+T again and select Internet Option.
  5. Click the General tab, change/delete the provided Home Page URL and click OK.

    These are really simple instructions, compared to some other malware. If its too hard, you could use some help from a friend, or an antispyware software
