HackTool:Win32/Patcher.B

HackTool:Win32/Patcher.B or Win32/HackTool.Patcher.T is a clandestine computer infection which may be installed onto your computer as a reliable and beneficial ‘patcher’ program. Unfortunately, the installed program will not serve you favorably and instead will simply infect your personal computer with a number of dangerous components. What is the purpose of this clandestine activity? Well, this is how cyber crooks could steal your personal information, including passwords and usernames. Henceforth, you should remove HackTool:Win32/Patcher.B as soon as you find it running on the operating Windows system. Unfortunately, this can be tricky because the infection does not have an interface and uses such rootkit files as uaccache.exe (%APPDATA%) and WindowsUpdate.exe (%TEMP%).

Even though the detection and removal of HackTool:Win32/Patcher.B may be aggravated by rootkit components, it is absolutely obligatory to find and delete all of the malicious components that belong to the infection. Note that some of the malicious elements could use randomly generated names (e.g. CNC4.exe or 18rm8qa1i6bggt-10070.exe) and cloaked names (e.g. vlcplayer.exe). Do you use the VLC player on your computer? Well have no doubt that this name could be stolen by a malignant file. Needless to say, this creates further difficulties with manual infection’s removal.

It is most important to find and delete the cloaked files kernel32.exe (%APPDATA%), PCMAV.exe and Svchost.exe. The first component can hijack system processes, reconfigure DNS settings, register SMTP server and release countless pop-ups. Even though this is highly deceitful, witnessing these pop-ups can save you a lot of trouble because this is thread that can lead you to the entire infection. PCMAV.exe is known to disable safe mode, remove access to the Registry Editor and Task Manager utilities and reconfigure Internet Explorer settings. Have you discovered a new home page, search engine or suspicious add-ons? Well, then you should find out if you do not need to remove HackTool:Win32/Patcher.B. Also do not forget the vicious Svchost.exe which can employ BHO, steal your login data, download spyware or use USB drives and your personal accounts to spread the infection to more computers.

By now it should be clear that it is absolutely necessary to delete HackTool:Win32/Patcher.B from the operating Windows system. Even though the infection is difficult to find and remove manually, authentic spyware removal tools will have no troubles. We recommend installing SpyHunter because this tool is up-to-date with all of the current infections and its protection services can ensure that no other dangerous software will breach your Windows system again.
