VGrabber

If you do not know how to get rid of vGrabber, here you will find how to do it. This application is used to download or convert videos to another format. If you have downloaded it from vgrabber.com, you probably know how this application works. It can be used for iPod, iPad, iPhone, Windows Mobile and other applications. Moreover, it is said to be non-related to YouTube. In order to remove it from the PC, it is enough to uninstall it through Control Panel by double-clicking on vgrabber whose publisher is “http://www.vgrabber.com”.

Those of you who have read the license agreement of this application may remember that vGrabber does not collect personal information. It may only collect non-identifiable information about your operating system or browsers in order to improve the service. This may result in the display of advertisements which are supposed to be related to your search query.  Additionally, you may notice that the computer starts running sluggishly. If you see that vGrabber causes high CPU usage, do not wait and remove this potentially unwanted program (PUP) as soon as you can.

However, if you are here because of vGrabber toolbar, some more changes have to be made. The toolbar, like the majority applications of this kind, can be installed alongside other applications or it can be downloaded from vgrabber.ourtoolbar.com. If you have installed this add-on without paying attention to the installation wizards, you might have missed some important information. Have your home page and search provider been changed? Forced to use search.conduit.com? This is what you have skipped:

Set my default search and home page to the Toolbar’s customized web search and search page. Install and enable Search Protect to notify me of changes.

I allow my current home page and default search settings to be stored for easy reverting later.

In the next window, you are offered to install Nitro PDF Reader. In order to opt it out, you have to select “I do not want to install Nitro DPF Reader”.

The toolbar changes the search provider, and for example, instead of Google, you are supposed to use Vgrabber Customized Web Search. In order not to be provided with unwanted advertisements or redirected to suspicious websites, you should remove vGrabber toolbar and change the settings of the browsers.
