Dirección General de la Policía Virus

Dirección General de la Policía Virus, also known as Cuerpo Nacional de Policía Virus, is a clandestine infection which displays a bogus notification and demands you to pay fines under the illegal camouflage of the authentic Spanish law enforcement agencies. Many Windows users are likely to support those departments which work to protect their cyber security. Unfortunately, trusting the Police and other authorities can be turned against you as schemers use certain reputable credentials to trick you into believing bogus information and following fake demands. As the name of the infection reveals, the ransomware uses the respectable name of the Spanish Police, which is why you should delete Dirección General de la Policía Virus as soon as you notice its clandestine notification on top of the screen.

If you think Dirección General de la Policía Virus removal is the only issue – you are wrong. The Trojan, which locks your computer and which controls the ransomware, is much more malicious because it can drop malware onto your computer and hide from removal. It is this clandestine infection which determines where you live and what malignant notification should be used to trick you out of your own money. For example, if you live in Norway – beware of Rikspolisstyrelsen Virus, and Irish Windows users need to keep guarded against Ireland's National Police Service Virus.

After intimidating you with financial penalties or imprisonment, the alert pushes you to pay the fine of €100. This payment cannot bring any benefits which is why you should not even think about proceeding with the purposeless demand. Additionally, you should ignore intimidating statements about having the system locked or personal data removed after 72 hours. Nonetheless, waiting is not a good idea, and Dirección General de la Policía Virus removal must be carried out as soon as possible.
