Iminent Toolbar

Iminent Toolbar is a browser extension that is available at iminent.ourtoolbar.com. With this toolbar installed on your browser you have an immediate access to a wide range of emoticons that you can use for your Facebook chats and email messages. Iminent Toolbar is developed and distributed by Conduit company, although the official distribution is not the only way for Iminent Toolbar to enter your system. It can also come bundled with other software that is available to download for free on the Internet. This could be the case of deceptive installation, when you think that you are installing one program, while in fact you install an entire bunch of them.

Then it is of no surprise that a lot of users want to remove Iminent Toolbar from their computers. Especially if they think that the toolbar was installed behind their backs. Such belief can be reinforced by the fact that their default home pages will be changed to search.iminent.com if the default version of the toolbar is installed. However, that will not happen if you uncheck several ticks during the installation. Thus, it shows the important of paying attention during software installation. Don't just follow the Installation wizard blindly!

The most dangerous part of Iminent Toolbar installation could present itself in case this toolbar is used by a third party collect personal data or deliver malware to your system. Take note that it is NOT Iminent Toolbar's fault, because this application is not a virus. It becomes a mean of malware distribution only if it is exploited by a third party. However, before any of that happens you can easily remove Iminent Toolbar manually via the Control Panel Uninstall Utility. Take control of your computer and what is installed on it.
