Poliisi virus

If your computer screen is occupied by a message saying Tietokoneen on lukituu!, your computer is infected with Poliisi virus, which you should remove immediately. Windows XP:

1. Restart the PC and start tapping the F8 key once the BIOS screen disappears. If the Windows logo appears, restart the PC and try again.
2. Use arrow keys to select Safe Mode with Networking.
3. Press Enter.
4. In the dialog box, click on Yes.
5. Open the Start menu.
6. Launch Run.
7. Enter “msconfig” in the Open box and press OK.
8. Click on the Startup tab.
9. Uncheck all startup entries.
10. Click on Apply.
11. Download SpyHunter and restart the machine.
12. Install the file downloaded in Normal mode and remove the infection.
