This toolbar works on Windows 7, Vista, XP and can easily be installed on Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari browsers. It does perform prescribed functions, but having this browser on your computer also exposes you to a whole list of threats. Since it is really easy to develop and install a toolbar, they are often adopted by malware programs as a platform that allows computers threats to infect computers and steal information from the target systems. Therefore, it is very likely that with Vuze toolbar installed on your browser you are exposed to serious infections that can damage your computer to the point you would need to reinstall your operating system.

Initially Vuze toolbar can add quick launch icons that would redirect you to social networks and coupon websites that earn money using pay-per-click system. Also, Vuze toolbar changes your default homepage to search.conduit.com. Needless to say, that your search engine will also be hijacked. It will still seem as though it provides normal search results, but most of them will be related to Vuze toolbar and other third party websites. If a user clicks on a sponsored search result, it might lead to a malicious program installation.

Hence, although Vuze toolbar is not a dangerous application in itself, it does nothing to actually enhance your browsing experience. In fact, it exposes you to possible malware infections.
