Adware.Agent

Adware.Agent is a family name for such prominent and widely spread adware infections as AdWare.Agent.jok, Adware.Agent.aft, Adware.Agent.kuk, Adware.Agent.A. The infection can be dropped into any Windows system using third-party downloads, spam email attachments and social engineering scams. Unfortunately, only those systems that are guarded by malware detection and removal software will be able to evade the threat created by the vicious infection. Therefore, you either need to install security tools to help you protect your digital security, or you need to continue reading to find out how you can delete Adware.Agent.

The malicious adware program is meant to infect your PC, collect personal data, steal login data and utilize your computer for financial scams and malware propagation operations. These dreadful processes can be initiated by the malignant program’s files which will be dropped to the Program Files folder in your system’s Local Disk. Most of these malign components will use randomly generated file names; however, this will not help you detect them running because swchost.exe will apply rootkits to hide Adware.Agent processes from removal. This is very dangerous, because you might not find vltdfabw.dll, a highly dangerous dynamic link library file that will drop program’s copies, delete processes and reconfigure autostart programs.

The most treacherous part of the entire infection will be created by the devious Browser Helper Objects iebrowserc.dll, IEHelper.dll, sp.dll, which will help schemers to spy on you and implement PPCToolbar.dll (malicious browser toolbar) to produce fictitious pop-up advertisements, initiate web page redirections and involve you into online scams. These programs might even help op_uid.dll to record keystrokes, mouse clicks and screen content, which basically means login data stealing. Once that is done, VnrPack28.exe will be able to access online accounts without your knowledge or authorization and spread malignant Adware.Agent copies via spam email sent from your personal account.

Even highly experienced Windows users tend to have issues when getting rootkits and polymorphic files deleted successfully, which is why you should implement automatic removal software to help you out, despite your previous success with adware removal.
