Ukash Politie virus

Ukash Politie Virus is a comeputer ransomware application that locks the user out of his computer in order to force him into pay the release fee. This computer infection uses symbols of real law enforcement authorities which makes it look even more believable. Thus, a lot of users think that their computers get locked by a real representative of the Dutch police office. Ukash Politie Virus targets users who live in the Netherlands or have Dutch IP addresses. It checks the addresses upon the installation and then changes its interface into the Dutch one.

As you can understand, there are more than one version of this ransomware, the most notorious one is called FBI Moneypak, but there are many different variants for different countries including Oficina Virtual de Denuncias virus (Spain), Ministere de L'interieur Virus (France), Polizia di Stato Virus (Italy) and many others. One more thing, even though Ukash Politie Virus displays the message in Dutch, it can also infect the users in Belgium and anywhere else where the language is used on a daily basis. So no matter where you are, if you get infected with Ukash Politie Virus, you will inevitably see this message on your screen:

The message explains that your computer is locked because illegally downloaded music files have been found on your hard drive. Naturally, that is a criminal act and you might face various charges, but Ukash Politie Virus offers you a solution by saying that your computer can be unlocked if you pay a 100 euro fine. It then tells you of a few ways that can be used to transfer the money, but don't fall into this trap!

Ukash Politie Virus will never unlock your computer, because it is not interested in it. It only wants your money and you will get your computer back only when you remove Ukash Politie Virus from your computer for good.

Follow these instructions to do so:

1.Restart your computer and press F8 before the system loads.
2.Select Safe Mode with Networking from the System boot menu and press Enter.
