Trojan.Phyiost.A

Trojan.Phyiost.A is a harmful and seditious Trojan which sneakily enters the system to download and execute arbitrary files, which in turn will download more malware to the infected system. It has also been noted to install the well-known TrojanDownloader:Win32/Bakted.A. This Trojan performs all of its activities in the system’s background, and thus is difficultly detected and removed.

Once Trojan.Phyiost.A roots itself into the PC, it will overwrite the Windows system file srsvc.dll, replacing it with a copy of itself. This is done so that each time this DLL file is called upon, the Trojan will instead be executed.

Trojan.Phyiost.A will download arbitrary files to the system, including updates for itself. This Trojan will contact the following host to do so:

Users are warned against attempting to manually remove Trojan.Phyiost.A unless experienced in doing so. This could lead to more damage being caused to the PC if done incorrectly. Instead invest in a genuine security tool which will not only destroy Trojan.Phyiost.A but also protect against similar future attacks.
