TrojanDownloader:AutoIt/Omiron.A is a malicious Trojan downloader which installs itself into its victims’ PCs without them knowing about it. Its purpose is to connect to remote websites after it installs itself, so that it can download and execute malicious software onto the system. TrojanDownloader:AutoIt/Omiron.A targets specific URLs that point to a website which contains exploit code, allowing the website to automatically download the software onto vulnerable PCs.

TrojanDownloader:AutoIt/Omiron.A will drop the following file into the system once it installs itself:
Msnmsgr.exe

And will also add the following registry modification:

The presence of the following registry modifications:
Adds value: "SysCom"
With data: "%windir%\System\msnmsgr.exe"
To subkey: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

This threat will be responsible for making the system much more vulnerable to infection by installing and executing threats to the PC. It will also collect data of its victims, such as usernames, passwords and financial info, and relay this stolen info to its developers.
