Adware.OpenCandy

When you open your Windows Task Manager you might find there a “wscntfy.exe” process. Normally it is a legitimate Windows file, which was first introduced in Windows XP Service Pack 2. Keep in mind that this process does not exists in Windows Vista or Windows 7, so if you see it in your Task Manager, it is a sign that you have been infected! Also, in Windows XP wscntfy.exe can be found in the C:\Windows\system32\wscntfy.exe folder. So if you find this file anywhere else, it is Adware.OpenCandy disguising as a legitimate file.
