XP Guard (or XP-Guard 2.1) is new rogue anti-spyware software. Usually XP Guard can install itself into the user’s computer system without his permission, through Trojans, Virus, malware or fake software. Real XP Guard is going to show user fake system alerts, fake scan reports or fake security alerts to trick him into buying the "full" version of XP Guard, in order to delete listed problems. XP Guard is related to "Warning! Win32/privacyremover.M64" fake warning message. The following pop-up is being showed:
“WARNING! Spyware detected on your computer! Install an antivirus or spyware remover to clean your computer.
XP Guard not only can cause user machine to slow down dramatically, but it can also put his privacy and data in real danger.
