Vista Antimalware

It would seem the rogue security industry never rests, as developers out to swindle consumers have released Vista Malware 2011, a harmful rogue antispyware acting as a replacement for Vista Malware 2010. In actual fact, nothing differs between these two applications except the name as they are both identical clones of each other. Entering the intended target’s PC without permission via underhanded Trojan horses, Vista Malware 2011 will do everything in its power to convince its victim of its legitimacy.

Vista Malware 2011’s main executable, pw.exe starts up when Windows is booted up, and will always run in the background. Its fake scanner starts when Windows does, and performs a bogus system security scan. This scamful scan will yield many false positive results of bogus infections being present on the PC. This is done solely in an effort to panic the PC owner.

As a further attack on the PC, Vista Malware 2011 will modify the Windows Registry and add certain entries which are responsible for the incessant popups experienced during a Vista Malware 2011 infection. These notifications act as false security notifications “generated” by the system scanner. Some of these notifications read as follows:

“System Hijack!
System security threat was detected. Viruses and/or spyware may be damaging your system now. Prevent infection and data loss or stealing by running a free security scan.”

“Privacy threat!
Spyware intrusion detected. Your system is infected. System integrity is at risk. Private data can be stolen by third parties, including credit card details and passwords. Click here to perform a security repair.”

“Stealth intrusion!
Infection detected in the background. Your computer is now attacked by spyware and rogue software. Eliminate the infection safely, perform a security scan and deletion now.”

Although Vista Malware 2011 might seem like a genuine security tool, it really does not have your best interests at heart. Do not fall victim to this rogue, rather take the necessary steps to permanently eliminate Vista Malware 2011 from your PC for good.
