While the nature of most adware applications is to harass the user with pointless random popups which are frustrating to say the least, Dymanet takes this to a whole new level. Instead of merely spamming the user with random popup messages, this Dymanet, which at times are also known as W32/AdSpy.Q, W32.Dymanet or Ezula has been designed to actually work in tandem with the user’s Internet browser.
This is even more disturbing seeing that Dymanet is gathering personal information about the user’s browsing habits, without the permission of the user. What makes this threat which oftentimes comes bundled with the MediaPass adware even worse is that it is very difficult to get rid of Dymanet. Even though it is possible to stop Dymanet’s conspicuous activity by disabling the Dymanet IE or Firefox add-ons, this does not always successfully kill Dymanet’s background processes. Users might be able to find Dymanet under the Add/Remove Programs tab in the Control Panel, lusted as “Contextual Tracker Dymanet”, but removing this in no way guarantees the successful deletion of Dymanet.
For programs that are able to get rid of Dymanet, only trust genuine security tools. Investing in these antispyware and antivirus security tools will keep your PC safe and healthy.
