Online Security is big money – and there are those that want their illegitimate share of it. IronDefender is a contradiction to what its name suggests as it will not defend your PC against anything. This rogue antispyware application is running rampant on the web, infecting millions of unaware users. Harmful Trojans, malware and other sinister bugs and infections are spread by IronDefender under the guise of actually adding value to the user’s PC.
IronDefender is a scam, as they try to convince PC owners to invest in its software yet never living up to its promises. Once infected with IronDefender, the user will be subject to a relentless barrage of irritating popups, blocked internet connections and alarming and erratic system instability.
The developers of IronDefender will harass the PC owner with fake system scan results and other ploys until the user relents and buys the full key version of IronDefender. This will be done in the hopes of getting rid of these fabricated infections. This is in fact only a ruse as IronDefender is not able to remove any infections, but is an infection in itself.
The only way users are able to remove IronDefender is by running genuine and reliable antispyware on their system. Trying to manually stop IronDefender will be difficult even for advanced users. It might also leave dormant files of IronDefender operating in the background undetected and unchanged, defeating the purpose.
Delete IronDefender the moment its presence is discovered on any operating system in order to minimize the damage posed by this ridiculous rogue software. The only way to stop this scam from deceiving other users is through continuously informing consumers of the IronDefender scam.
