SecretService also known as Secret Service, is a new rogue anti-spyware program which spreads rapidly through its total malicious techniques. SecretService is often downloaded and installed via a Trojan through browser security holes or other alternative and deceitful methods. Once installed, SecretService will perform a system scan and report multiple infections. Misleading pop-ups and system tray alerts will state that your system is infected and you will need to install a reliable security product to protect yourself. These pop-ups and system tray alerts are fake. This is the tactic used to scare you into purchasing the “full” version of SecretService to remove the ‘so called’ infections. SecretService may try to convince you to remove other legitimate security software programs by displaying fake pop-ups. Do not trust any of the messages displayed by SecretService as they are all fake. Purchasing SecretService will not remove the pop-ups and will not protect your computer from future infections. It is highly recommended that SecretService be removed immediately from your computer system.
