PCPrivacyDefender, also known as PC Privacy Defender, PCPrivacy Defender, PC PrivacyDefender, is a new fictitious anti-spyware software application that has been created to invade the privacy of a user’s computer system and attempt to jeopardise the user’s Internet community. PCPrivacyDefender acts as a typical malware application in the fact that PCPrivacyDefender generates misleading and exaggerated results. PCPrivacyDefender infiltrates a computer system without the user’s permission, usually via a Vundo Trojan, Virus or fake software. PCPrivacyDefender goes on to display fictitious system alerts or phony security alerts, all as an attempt to coerce the user into buying the paid version of PCPrivacyDefender. Computer users should be advised that PCPrivacyDefender is capable of causing your machine to slow down dramatically, it will also put the user’s privacy and data at risk. PCPrivacyDefender should be deleted immediately if it has been downloaded or detected.
