PC Privacy Defender (PCPrivacyDefender, PCPrivacy Defender, PC PrivacyDefender) is a fake antispyware software, also known as a rogue antispyware software. PC Privacy Defender may be downloaded and installed silently without the user’s consent and knowledge, typically by other malware. The accompanying malware may display fake warnings that the computer is infected in order to scare the user into purchasing the PC Privacy Defender licensed program.
